The park is situated in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Geographically, it sits about 70 kilometers, or roughly an hour’s drive, north of the coastal city of Gqeberha, which was formerly known as Port Elizabeth. Because of its location just beyond the eastern edge of the famous Garden Route, it serves as a highly accessible natural finale for one of the country’s most famous coastal road trips.
